Hello and welcome to InTheAisles.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My friends call me ‘Little Miss Consumer’, because I love to shop, picking up bargains that quite often turn out to be a huge disappointment! My problem is I’m a sucker for advertising, pretty packaging and a money off label! Saying that, I’m about to contradict myself, because I also have a lot to say about unnecessary packaging and I often feel that the sales are full of tat. It all depends on what mood I’m in! One thing’s for sure though, there’s no denying I love to shop! Due to my love of shopping and previous experience of working in retail, I’ve come across some pretty funny situations in supermarkets and other shops.

We all have to shop for food and clothes (although some of us avoid it as much as possible!) and the Internet means that we can even order our groceries online and have them delivered direct to our door. For those of us, who still venture out for our shopping, I’m sure we’ve all seen some crazy things in the Supermarket! I’ll be sharing my experiences with you and would love it if you shared yours with me. Have you seen fellow shoppers displaying strange behaviour in the Supermarket? Has anyone ever fought with you over a packet of minced beef? Have you had any disasters at the check out? Have you had dealings with any awful shop assistants, or, more importantly some lovely ones? What is the strangest promotion you’ve ever seen in your local Sainsburys or Tesco? I think we’ve all got a story to tell. Whether it’s toddlers running amok amongst the toilet roll or a strange encounter at the fish counter, there must be something that maybe made you cringe with embarrassment at the time, but makes you roll around laughing in the aisles now!

As well as sharing my stories with you, I’ll share all my opinions on shopping, whether it be on the highstreet or online. I’ll share my favourite shopping websites with you and if you take a look you might even get the chance to save money on the things that you buy everyday.
